Description

The Hikvision DS-2FA1205-C8(UK) Multi-Channel SMPS is a compact switching mode power supply designed to provide stable power to multiple CCTV cameras from a single unit. It is suitable for surveillance installations in homes, offices, shops and commercial premises where several cameras require a reliable 12V DC power source.

With a total power output of 60W, the power supply delivers up to 12V DC at 1A per channel, with a maximum combined output current of 5A. Its wide AC input range of 150–285V makes it suitable for installations experiencing variations in mains voltage.

The unit includes over-current, short-circuit and over-voltage protection to help protect connected equipment against common electrical faults. It also features cable length compensation with selectable normal, long and extra-long output settings of 12V, 13.5V and 15V respectively, helping address voltage drop over longer camera cable runs.

Designed with a compact form factor and good electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance, the DS-2FA1205-C8(UK) is a practical power solution for CCTV installations requiring organised and dependable camera power distribution.
