The MikroTik RB5009UG+S+IN is a high-performance wired router designed for demanding home labs, small and medium-sized businesses, enterprise networks and professional network deployments. It combines a quad-core 1.4 GHz ARM 64-bit processor, 1 GB DDR4 RAM and 1 GB NAND storage with RouterOS v7 for advanced routing, firewall, VPN, VLAN, traffic management and other networking applications.

The router provides a versatile high-speed interface configuration consisting of seven Gigabit Ethernet ports, one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port and one 10G SFP+ port. This allows the RB5009 to handle conventional Gigabit connections while providing faster uplink options for modern network infrastructure.

A USB 3.0 Type-A port is included for additional storage and networking applications supported by RouterOS. The RB5009UG+S+IN also supports multiple power-input options, including its DC power jack, PoE-in through Ethernet port 1 and a 2-pin terminal.

The compact enclosure measures 220 × 125 × 22 mm and uses passive cooling. MikroTik also provides mounting accessories that allow multiple RB5009 units to be installed in a 1U rack space, making the router suitable for space-conscious professional deployments.
